Rox mascot

meet rox, the app behind this tracker

this tracker is free and works right here, no sign-up. rox is the app behind it. it remembers every entry, reads your apple watch, oura, garmin or amazfit, and shows you the patterns behind how you feel.

how it works

1

pick what you are feeling and rate each one from 0 to 10

2

add a quick note if you want, then save. about 20 seconds

3

come back each day and your patterns show up on their own

your data stays on this device. we never see it, and there is no sign-up.

questions? we have answers.

questions? we have answers.

01

how do i track my symptoms?

pick the symptoms that apply to you, rate how strong each one felt from 0 to 10, and save. doing that once a day, around the same time, is enough. after a couple of weeks the tracker shows which symptoms are climbing and which days were worst.

02

what is the best free symptom tracker?

the one you will keep using. this tracker is free and needs no sign-up, so there is nothing between you and your first entry. if you want your history kept, patterns worked out for you, and your wearable data sitting next to your symptoms, rox is a free ios app that does all three.

03

how often should i log my symptoms?

once a day works for most people, ideally at a similar time so entries stay comparable. logging several times a day usually creates more data and less insight, and it costs energy you were trying to protect. during a flare it helps to log at the start and again when it eases.

04

can i show this to my doctor?

yes. use copy my log or email me my log to send yourself the full history, then bring it to your appointment. a short summary of your worst symptoms and how often they hit is far more useful in a ten minute appointment than trying to remember it on the spot.

05

where is my symptom data stored?

only in your own browser, on the device you are using. nothing is uploaded, and we never see it. that also means clearing your browser data clears the log, and it will not follow you to another device, which is where the rox app comes in.
